This swimming beach is located next to the Kabushima shrine, a nationally designated natural monument and the breeding grounds for the black-tailed gull. Relatively close to the city, it is a popular beach for swimming during Hachinohe’s short summers.
Although relatively small, the cries of the black-tailed gulls and the beautiful, almost finished Kabushima Shrine in the background make this a fun and unique beach to visit.
