Shark is a tour boat offering cruises around the Hachinohe Port that lasts about an hour. You can get a sense of the city, port, and beaches when viewing them from the sea. Some highlights of the tour are the fishing port, the industrial port, Port Island and Kabushima Island, which is a breeding ground for black-tailed gulls. From spring through summer, enjoy getting to know the gulls, called “Umineko” in Japanese, as they get close to the “Shark”.
