Kuraishi onsen was built in 1989 and is a wonderful hot spring facility featuring several baths. The main bath in both the men and the women’s section features large windows that look out into an enclosed garden. Both sections also have baths that are filled with bubbles produced by ultrasonic waves that create vibrations to massage the whole body. The hot waters of the spring are of course great to relax tired muscles but drinking the waters is said to help with stomach and intestinal ailments as well.

The facility also features a sauna, rest area, community hall, and tatami rooms making it a great place to rest, chat with friends and relax. A favorite amongst the locals, the facility is increasingly popular with out of town visitors as well.
