Directly connected to Hachinohe Station by a passageway, the YouTree building is a convenient place to start your visit to Hachinohe or do some shopping before you leave. YouTree holds exhibitions and demonstrations of Hachinohe’s local products and sells items such as traditional crafts, newly developed products and souvenirs. You can also try your hands in baking Nanbu senbei rice crackers, embroidering with the Nanbu hishizashi diamond stitch or weaving in the Nanbu sakiori style using strips of old cloth. YouTree also has restaurants, offers accommodations, and it serves as a bridge between the tourists and the Hachinohe region.
